Holger Ballweg is a live coder and programmer living in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK). He is a member of the live coding laptop band Benoît and the Mandelbrots, with whom he performed over 70 concerts in Germany and Europe. In 2012 Benoît and the Mandelbrots received an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica. They released their first album in 2016. He also occasionally performs in a duo with Shelly Knotts.
